This idea is referring to the single-line entry field, which does not list prep actions under the ingredient name as you search.
It would be nice if the system was more intuitive, the system needs to recognize the way some users are more likely to enter ingredients. If I am typing "diced red onion" the drop down does not show "red onion, diced". The system should recognize that these are the same and the drop down menu should show the corresponding ingredient/prep action.
When entering an ingredient into a recipe, the prep methods do populate in the drop down as you type. You must reach a certain point in your entry before they appear. This is done so that the results presented do not become too lengthy.
